How does it work?

Vascette hemostatic pads have an integrated plant-based, ultra hydrophilic, foam hemostat. The foam pad rapidly dehydrates blood and produces a hemoconcentration of platelets, fibrinogen and other clotting factors which accelerate the physiologic clotting process.

Vascette® HP is indicated for both radial and femoral vascular closures following cardiac catheterizations.

Application Step by Step

Step 1

Remove peel-away liner to the crease (2/3) and place Vascette near the sheath.

Step 2

Apply occlusive digital pressure approx 5cm proximal to the puncture site.

Step 3

Center Vascette over the puncture site and remove remainder of peel-away liner.

Step 4

Press outer adhesive border to the skin. DO NOT touch center hemostatic foam.

Step 5

Approx 10 minutes before removal, syringe irrigate Vascette through the round window.
